c h e c k i n g | in . Just arrived at our new Cape Town digs and my jaw has hit the ground. I am not joking when I say this is the most amazing home I have ever seen in my life. My dream home, in fact. Every little design detail is so totally perfect (not to mention the view). It is SO, so beautiful here. Thank you @perfecthideaways... The charming village of Stanford makes for a perfect weekend getaway - great food, market, cafes, antique and junk shops, not to mention swimming in the river, ensures something for everyone. And Bloomsbury cottage is the perfect place to stay. Centrally situated on the village green means a good cappuccino is close at hand, and the river is just a short walk away. Inside the cottage is filled with wonderful market finds, from paintings to books and curiosities. But its the covered terrace at the back of the house that is the reason for never wanting to leave.
