Continuing the theme of yesterday's post...the poor visibility certainly helped conceal that shark right up until it was on the diver, but these animals are well camouflaged even in the clear, blue waters of Guadalupe. True, if you are expecting a shark and looking for a shark you can make one out, but even then it is difficult and likely that the shark is only seen once it has decided to let itself be seen. So, what if you weren't on alert for the shark? If it were hunting you do you think you'd know until its too late? Consider the last 10 seconds of this post; if you were diving and had your eyes on the white shark closest to you, would you have even known the second one was there? This is new footage from Andy Dellios's 2017 trip to Guadalupe. #camouflage #countershading #perfecthunter #whiteshark #stealth #shark #whiteshark #wsv #whitesharkvideo #skylerthomas #andydellios #guadalupe Music by David S.
