But it's so hard to breathe with our ties so tight.

Everything in it's place, with it's purpose, in line.

Everything is pristine, everything is fine.

But forever filled with rage, I stare at this empty page-

Where do we discontinue this infinite embrace?

When do we break free of this facade of living grace;

When did we stop asking questions, when did we erase?

Inertia caused by settling, there is no motion without thrust.

We are no benevolent beings, we are forged through our mistrust.

A plaster, and mold, a canon left so cold.

You'd like to think you're different,

But you wouldn't be so bold.
