“Oh, uh.. h-hey..” Black Star spoke nervously as Jasper drew closer.  It had been a while since she had last seen the Perfect Quartz.  “I.. uh..” the runt stammered, feeling her palms start to clam up.  “I uh.. I-I’d like to.. apologize for our last.. you know.  I’m just.. kinda scared of Jaspers, but I shouldn’t be.. afraid of all.. of you..” it was hard to maintain the eye contact, but Black Star was trying.

“Anyway!  My point is, since we’re gonna be seeing each more.  I.. I’d like to say sorry.”

      PEARL STOOD HER GROUND , glaring & keeping her spear at the ready just behind her gem.  sure , things were different in ERA 3 , but not much had seemed different with JASPER from her point of view.  JASPER was still aggressive & angry & unpredictable , all of which were things PEARL didn’t like.  yet , despite all this , what surprised her most of all was how the other’s words had made her feel so self-conscious.  a fancy PEARL ?  what exactly did that mean ?
