☮ - Do they have an idol or someone they look up to?
Proton doesn’t really have much in the way of an idol. I wouldn’t say that he considers himself to be above everyone else or without equal- though at times he may come off that way on account of how much of an arrogant fuck he tends to be- because he still follows orders and such should someone in a higher position of power issue them to him. Though usually not without his fair share of bitching unless said orders involve something he legitimately enjoys. He’ll never try to talk back or question Giovanni- Archer, unfortunately, is not nearly as lucky- though he draws the line at bending over backwards for the guy or doing stupid, humiliating crap for his enjoyment. He may be loyal to Team Rocket, but he’s also a prideful little shit.
Perhaps there may have been a time when he once looked up to Jeremiah, though whether he still feels the same way is debatable. The guy was the one who pretty much took Proton under his wing and showed him what being a real criminal was all about, and while he certainly holds a great deal of respect for him, there’s probably a lot of fucked up feelings thrown into the mix as well.
As of right now, though, no. He doesn’t.
☁ - If they’re caught out in the rain how do they react?
It depends on the circumstances. If he’s randomly wandering around outside and it starts raining, chances are he’ll probably go back inside or hide underneath a tree if headquarters is too far away and try to wait it out. And probably make a run for it if he gets bored enough- which, considering it’s Proton we’re talking about here, probably won’t take very long.
If he’s on a mission and it starts pouring, then he’ll probably just suck it up and deal with it. Proton is actually rather accustomed to dealing with a fair amount of discomfort, and as a result is pretty good at ignoring shit when it starts to bug him. He finds nothing wrong with sleeping in a tree or the old as fuck couch in his office. That doesn’t mean he won’t do more than his fair share of bitching about it, however. Proton complains. A lot. His hair also has a tendency to get curly as fuck if he allows it to get wet and then neglects to brush it which is arguably pretty fucking adorable if you happen to see it.
Also I have this headcanon that Team Rocket has this neat as fuck rain uniform that I’ll have to draw at some point.
♠ - What are they afraid of?
Ariana. She scares the shit outta him.
I think it might tie in to all of Proton’s fucked up family issues, and the fact that Ariana is always so damn motherly all the time. Also the way that he tries to play himself off as this terrible, irredeemable monster. Proton does not react well when people gloss over how fucked up he is, or just don’t seem to care. Interacting with Ariana is a gigantic mindfuck to him, because he doesn’t understand how she can just be so fucking nice. He doesn’t trust it. At all.
Also, like I go over here, he kinda has this vague fear of disfigurement/something happening to him that would permanently cripple him and keep him from doing the shit that he loves- namely fieldwork, torture and killing people. I don’t think Proton is consciously aware of this, however.
