Leyna Valentine was born in Berlin on October 17th, 1995. She lived with her Grandmother and older brother and sister until they moved to England when she was 10. From a very young age she loved singing and creating stories.
Dance lessons from 5, singing lessons from 11, she was always trying to be the best in anything she can do. After school, she studied at Mountview and grew many good and bad experiences that only fuelled her determination to do what she loves.
After graduating, she moved to London permanently, auditioning for anything she could until finally she got the highly anticipated call. She would play Christine in The Phantom of the Opera.

Saskia Lee. “love at first sight”
Leyna had a good feeling about this audition. After waiting in the line for a while, and getting to know the other girls there, Saskia approached her. Leyna was immediately drawn to her beautiful eyes and sweet smile and it seemed that Saskia was also drawn to Leyna. When Saskia spoke to her, it was almost as if Leyna had forgotten how to hold a basic conversation. She stuttered and fumbled on almost every word she said. When she went into the audition, all she could think about was her awkward interaction with Saskia. This heavily impacted her audition, and it didn’t go very well.
Their relationship was quite private and they dated for around 1 year. Things didn’t end badly, it was a mutual splitting. They are still best friends to this day.
Saskia would go onto making music and becoming a famous pop star.

Ethan Harper. “childhood friends”
Leyna knew Ethan from drama school. They were close friends but hadn’t connected in a while. Ethan was now a model. After they connected again, they both realised how much they liked each other. Leyna’s name was suddenly everywhere after her big break and she wasn’t too sure on publicly revealing a new relationship yet, so she kept Ethan a secret for a little while. He didn’t like this, he thought that if people knew about him and Leyna then it would be a good opportunity for him to break into the industry as well. And he was right. After it was revealed that they were dating, Ethan got many job offers which he happily accepted.
They dated for 3 years. Their breakup was a big deal. Leyna was predicted to win an Oscar that year for La La Land and when paparazzi pictures and footage of her and Ethan arguing on a street came out, it wasn’t a good look. A few weeks after she won the Oscar, she wrote a statement explaining the situation. Ethan had cheated on her.
Ethan still went on to work on big projects and movies, but they no longer speak.
