I love him but for the life of me I can’t understand what Sakura sees in him. He’s a great character but if I knew him irl I’d be so annoyed with how obtuse he is all the time, lol.

I feel like character development is something Free! really shines in, both in the major storylines and in the details. And yeah Rei has come a loooooong way. Thanks Nagisa! ;)

oh yeah that's definitely the one thing that carries across the seasons that i really like. admittedly it's not always done perfectly and they push pretty hard on the sappy sports anime nakama theme but that's part of the show's sweet and dorky charm!

yeah exactly rei just needed a bit of the nagisa hazuki d to relax a bit. but no seriously he's so STIFF and FROWNY and you can tell he tries SO HARD to be the stoic cool ~logic and science is everything what is emotions~ glasses character but it's rei so he just comes off as....... rei-diculous......

I haven’t read any of the supplemental stuff - no books or comics or anything - so everything is based on my in-game interactions with her.

How I feel about this characterMorrigan is an enigma wrapped inside a conundrum wrapped inside Aeryn Sun. She learned how to be a badass broken little thing by possibly Andraste Janeway Flemeth, who is the GREATEST MYSTERY OF THE ENTIRE GAME WHAT THE HELL, and she sure knows it.I love her. I love how vulnerable she is, I love how she does not know how to deal with friendship but at the same time understands that she wants it. I love how she bickers with everyone, especially the Puppy, and also the dog.I need to know more about her.

All the people I ship romantically with this characterAlistair because they’d kill each other but it would be hilarious.

My non-romantic OTP for this characterThe Warden, naturally. Male or female at this point, I think that learning How To Friendship is a way better story hook than The Man Who Teaches Me To Love.

My unpopular opinion about this characterI don’t know how popular any opinion is but I love her hair. A lot of mods exist to change it but no give me the messy-yet-practical Bun Of Doom.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.Morrigan’s Day Out With Leliana, featuring SHOPPING and DRINKING and BAR FIGHTS. You know, girly stuff.
