claudia isn't entirely sure what to make of jason, he seems nice enough, if not a bit eccentric; but she feels like that isn't uncommon for the wasteland as she has discovered thus far.

yet she is grateful that he is more eccentric than murderous, since all she has noticed is people's knack for violence out here. it is all incredibly jarring &. a lot for her to wrap her head around. she is collecting her things to put into a bag, figuring that she has overstayed her welcome at this point &. she is sure that there are things that need to be done without her presence here.

so, she is caught off guard when jason's voice cuts through the air, no hostility or unnecessary volume to it, just in the way that he usually seems to carry his tone.

" she repeats, confusion lacing her voice as she wonders just what he means by that. she puts her bag back on the cot she had been using during her stay. brown eyes looking at jason as she turns her head, she lifts a hand to brush stray black curls out of her face.
