Ik this is the internet and everybody has something to say about everything, so imma just give my lil two cents or whatever.
If you are so desensitized that you can’t empathize with someone who’s face was literally photoshopped onto a lynched black person, you need H E L P. I don’t care how long ago it was, she reserves the right to speak her mind and address how that changed her. She faced some very hateful words/ threats from fans of a person who was one of her closest friends and her band mate and to make things worse, said person gave this wack ass speech about treating everyone with love and didn’t even really address the situation head on.... did Normani not deserve that? (Now, ik management is a thing and they could have affected her speaking out but yeah) Being a fan of 5th harmony and Normani, it was very evident that that whole situation affected Normani very severely; she went from actively showing her lively personality to nada. And I would also like to call out her fans as well bc y’all get mad at her for not interacting a lot, but y’all forget that she doesn’t really mess with social media like that due to the situation mentioned above; that doesn’t mean she’s not appreciative. SHE DOESNT OWE YALL INTERACTION. periaht.
In conclusion, you can’t regulate or dictate how someone else feels about a situation that affected them and not you.
