Freedom on Election Day
During election day, we are given the privilege to exercise our right to vote - or our right to suffrage as the legal world calls it. This is one of our perks as a free nation - the independence to choose whomever we want to be next leaders of our nation.
However, there’s another freedom that we have experienced in this year’s elections - the freedom to avail of freebies from various establishments. Starbucks, Fruitas, and Dairy Queen - among others - have just treated Filipinos who cast their votes last May 9. I didn’t have the chance to avail that of DQ though, but the oher two were just awesome. It really pays when you exercise your right to suffrage.
