Darius was aware of assassins, let he experienced several assassination attempts on him many times in his world. He wonder who was that person lurking in the shadows like how Zed does. If he had his axe back, it may end in a bloody mess but that, he will not do it.
All he want to that stranger is to come out.
“Hiding isn’t necessary, stranger. I am not your target.” Folded arms, his axe was behind him, undrawn.

A shift in perspective can change a great deal. Everyone has their own point of view, and they can even alter given time or circumstance. At this particular junction in Spirale city, a point of view would contain a young woman. Somewhat extravagant attire though certainly not much by the standards of this place.. Completely normal save for one feature.
She was currently missing a head.
This didn’t seem to impact the body much, though it was silently patting at the ground as if in search of something. By some sense that clearly wasn’t sight, scent or sound based the body turned to another woman nearby. There was a series of frantic gestures before it attempted to clutch loosely at the woman’s clothes in a pleading manner.

ƒ. ❝ Mhm? ❞ Her body made a sudden brake as soon as she noticed a figure looming in the darkness, she was halfway there to her first ‘cutting cables odyssey’ sucess yet... did this person outstrip her? Or not? Both arms fall to her sides as she begins to talk in her usual friendly yet polite tone of voice. She can barely see her features but she seems older than her.

Honestly, he shouldn’t be surprised anymore. On an island full of “special cases,” remarks like this should only work up a mild reaction at best. How did this outta-nowhere lady even know about his Reaper moniker, or even his birthday? Word of mouth? Whatever the reason, it’s nothing to get worked up over. He relaxes his shoulders as a hand moves up to rub at his hair, a nod of acknowledgement soon following.
”Yeah… thanks. Guess I should keep an eye out for ya then, Reaper lady.”
The moon was bright, because of course, it was. The moon was full, because why wouldn’t it be? There’d be a reunion tonight, after all— one between two killers from a world obsessed with the lunar satellite.
Travis hadn’t realized it, at first. Or maybe he’d just ignored the fact— put it off for things more important. This wasn’t exactly the best timing, after all, what with recent events past and holidays upcoming. But on the other hand... Travis had an obligation towards the people of his home, no matter how much certain aspects of that didn’t sit well with him.
So, finally, while on his way home with bowls of piping hot soup in arms, the assassin suddenly veered into a snowbank-filled alleyway... finally giving in to the recently-ever-growing feeling of being watched.
“Alright,” he sighed. “C’mon out.”

Sara looked up at the trees, the forest surrounding her new living arrangements putting her at ease for the first time in a while. She recalled this place before, and the longer she resided in the peace and quiet of nature, the more the memories of this place flooded back.
She had returned, but had the people she encountered along the way remained?
A snap of a branch caused her to turn sharply, her eyes narrowing.
"Who's there!" she called, her body tensing as she waited to see who was nearby.
