HMMMMM i’m personally going to be playing a little tonight!! only because i don’t have the patience to wait / i wouldn’t be able to sleep. but i’m being stern with myself on How long i play LMAO otherwise i’ll pull an allnighter

if you start tonight you’ll get the excitement of playing as soon as you can! if you wait until tomorrow, you’ll wake up fresh and excited and well-rested which may be better for your health but one night may not make a difference!

maybe you can make your player then save the rest for the morning?

Hey thank you so much! It always brightens my day to hear that about my art.

Also about my art program I use Clip Studio Paint. I have two main brushes that I use, textured and turnip.

Textured is what I use for the pieces that are more pixel like, this is my main brush for most things from sketching to finished pieces. I just prefer the rough look and its very nice with lineless.

Turnip pen is what I use with accents/skins. It’s just closer to an average pen but still pretty nice. I have stabilization a bit higher because I actually have to do line art when using it unlike textured.

Most of my art is either sketches or sketch straight to finished as I am an impatient person and need to do everything as quickly as possible. Also I am a hell person who does everything on one level.

As for looking good, I am still not so sure as I am still learning. Like most people would say, practice makes perfect, but of course theres always more than that. One of my biggest tips is never use pure white unless you really want it to pop and when shading, rotate the color wheel a bit and you’ll get more interesting colors. Of course references help as well as studying real models of people and animals but eh, I am not the best at that stuff.

Thinking really really headachingly hard about shapes and characteristics I find interesting in creatures. Sometimes it just starts with something very simple like “a thing that can’t move but bites anything that gets close” or “a thing that floats like a balloon” and then I make up the rest as I go

Ahhhh I wish I did! TBH a lot of my time when I’m not in class or at work has been devoted to watching slasher movies or writing my own stuff, so I haven’t delved super deep into reading other people’s stuff besides the headcanons and ficlets that come across my dash on here. :(

i’m gonna babble mostly abt my dnd character caoilfhinn! i already talked some abt her she’s half elven and a fighter who’s probably gonna end up being a gunslinger when she reaches 3rd level. Her whole backstory is basically that she was raised by her mother, a super kind and caring woman who raised her daughter to be the same, and then one day when caoilfhinn was 11 her father came back and demanded that cay(caoilfhinn’s nickname) come with him. her mother helped caoilfhinn flee into the woods where the fairies took care of her, helping to protect her. then months later when caoilfhinn returned she found her home burned down and through word of mouth figured out that her father had taken her mother to the capital where he worked as a higher up military commander. she then made her way there, confronting him and helping get her mother home on the condition that cay would stay there and join him and become part of the military. after years of awful training and being put on display as the commanders perfect daughter and realizing that the military and government were extremely corrupt she formed a revolt with the rest of the crew on the ship she and her father currently had command of and took over the ship, she literally threw her father off board and started a career as a pirate captain and earned the nickname the Fairy Fighter. I actually rlly like how i developed her as someone who was raised by this kind woman and was raised like that, and then as time went on she just got angrier and angrier at the man who hurt her and her mother, at the military for being so corrupt, and at the world at large sometimes. So because of that she did what she saw fit, she operates by her own personal moral code and sometimes she’s thought about bending it, and i think that those moments where she sees herself going against the morals she’d developed is what really terrifies her, and ultimately the reason why she went to land. when she went to go visit her mother in the woods it was very touching and lovely, but her mother is also very perceptive and told her daughter that she was scared that caoilfhinn was beginning to turn into her father, and that thought that she could be anything like him terrifies her. and on a lighter note and random note, she can 100% play the fiddle and loves to go to taverns add pubs and sing and dance and get up on the tavern tables and perform. Finally, here is her spotify playlist!!! the first song is literally what inspired her entire character and then the rest just rlly fit either her or are just pirate-y songs

They have two completely different meanings, if you’re using autocorrect or use ‘ur’ in the place of one of the two it is forgiven but to misspell it on paper? Dishonor.
