1. I love Supernatural.

2. I have a puppy named Misha.

3. I have already started Christmas shopping for said puppy.

4. I’m an academic. Probably a bad choice.

5. I’m currently watching a movie called Curve. It’s not great.

6. I’m supposed to be out of work for two weeks because I fell and hit my head at NJcon. I’m going in to work tomorrow anyway.

7. I’m super mad at myself for falling because I couldn’t wear the outfit I’d planned to for J2 day at NJcon (which would have matched Jensen’s shirt perfectly, by the way). I wore it today and like 5 people complimented it, which just made it worse that I had to give it up for my J2 pictures. (Sorry–I think this became a venting session. Haha!)

8.  I’m trying to grade, and it’s giving me a headache.

9. I’m rewatching Gilmore Girls, and it’s kind of surreal to hear everyone calling Jared “Dean.” It just feels wrong.

10. I just bought a sparkly rainbow wristlet keychain, and I am in love with it.

11. I have so many shoes. Soooo many shoes. It’s a problem.

when did your blog reach it’s peak: I think it was post DCcon this year? Whichever was my first con with the new really awesome camera. Haha!

why did you choose your url: It’s a reference to a quote from the show Tru Calling. It started as blessingcurse_calling like 10 years ago, but over the years, I shortened it to bccalling. It’s been my fandom identity for a very, very long time.

lemonade or iced tea?: Both. Arnold Palmer.

cats or dogs: I love cats, but I’m more of a dog person, really.

coke or pepsi: Diet Coke

day or night: Night, 100%

makeup or natural: Here’s the thing--I am obsessed with makeup, but also, I am lazy. So when I wake up early/have extra motivation/am doing something I really want to look nice for, I go all out on makeup. However, 99.99% of the time, I’d rather sleep.

light or dark hair: Medium brown. At least, that’s my hair color, and the one I’m most comfortable with, and it’s kind of in between.

city or country: Depends on my mood.

First thing you would do with lottery money: Pay off my student loans. Then buy convention tickets with anything left over.

Fictional Character you would hang out with for a day: Sam and Dean Winchester. But like, in the bunker, where it’s safe.

Relationship status: Soooo far from interested in relationships right now. I am barely keep myself together; I do not have the energy to foster a relationship. So, none. Happily.

Dogs or cats: Dogs. I enjoy cats, but dogs are something special for me. Or maybe it’s just my dog. I don’t know.

Coke or Pepsi: Diet Coke. I am definitely a Diet Coke person if I’m going to go soda.

Day or Night: I am a serious nightowl. Like, it’s a problem.

Text or call: Text. Always. Except with my best friend. Then I need an actual call every now and again. But otherwise, text. Phone = anxiety for me.

Chapstick or lipstick: Both. Chapstick at night and lipstick during the day. I am currently obsessed with Too Faced’s La Creme lipstick in Honey Bear. It’s all I’ve worn for weeks. The formula is to die for!

Favorite color: Teals that lean to the blue side of the spectrum.

Pets: One little monster I call Misha (I know, I know. I swear it was joke, but then it stuck...). She’s a three year old pug/maltese/shih tzu mix and she owns my world.

Wake up time: Like 10:30am. I do my best intellectual work late at night (between like 10pm and 4am), and I don’t officially work until around noon on my teaching days, so I can sleep in. On non-teaching days, it’s closer to a noon wake up time.
