Zayn leaned over the balcony railing, a cigarette dangling from his fingertips. Smoking was what always calmed him down, but it was a nasty habit he needed to break. But he knew staying here, that wouldn't be possible. Taking a drag, then puffing out the smoke, he stared at the view -- his mind racing a million miles an hour. After his conversation with Perrie, his mind started going crazy, like it normally did whenever the two fought. He didn't want to fight with her, make her cry, yet again. She had spilled enough tears because of him and he wasn't about to let her go through that again.
Finally finishing up his cigarette, he put it out on the ashtray and walked back inside his condo. Looking down at his attire that consisted of just a pair of basketball shorts, he figured the least he could do was make himself look presentable for his ex -- that honestly, he still loved more than anyone, and anything in the world. Walking back to his room, he quickly hopped into the shower, letting the hot water relax his tense muscles. Stepping out into a steamy bathroom, Zayn wrapped a towel around his waist and walked back into his room to get himself dressed. He sent a text to Perrie telling her that he wanted to meet up face to face, so he was headed over to where he condo was. Slipping on a pair of faded black jeans, and a white t-shirt, he slid on his boots and looked at himself in the mirror. It looked like he hadn't slept in years, and he felt like it. Shrugging it off, he grabbed his phone, and black leather jacket -- he headed out the door.
The walk to Perrie's room was long, considering he got lost several times, seeing he was still new here. Soon enough, he'd find his way around the large place. As he walked, Zayn tried calming his thoughts, but it only made them run wild again, slowly causing his head to form a small headache. Shaking his head, he finally found the place where Perrie's room was located. Knocking on the door lightly, the black haired boy took a step back and waited for her to answer, softly biting his lip.
