"Many sweeps ago..." for Persef c:

Fires danced on her face in two wet lines while blood boiled beneath the surface of her skin. Careful breaths were muffled behind a cupped hand pressed firmly against her mouth. Heart beats, like thunder in her ears, created a cold icy panic that stabbed at her chest like a thicket of thorns.

"Persef!"

Those dreadful fists landed on her front door.

"Persef, I didn't mean it!"

Sink low. Don't make a sound. Don't be in view of any of the windows. Don't let him know she's home.

"She means nothing to me, man! Now open this fucking door!"

The clicking of claws on the floor announced the arrival of her lusus, three pairs of eyes narrowing in protective confusion. Persef shook her head. Don't hurt him, please. She still cares for him, she loves him after all. Loved? She can't tell anymore. Long nights of isolation and neglected calls tends to create a canyon in between people, let alone when one side catches the other cheating.

Let alone when he chases her screaming and threatening and saying awful things as if that would make her stop dead in her tracks and forgive him. She fears that if she had, she'd be dead on the tracks by now.

The door rattles against the locks, and her head knocks back in a silent sob. He's not going to leave her alone, and she knows he has so much power at his disposal. If he doesn't get her now, he'll find her later. He'll say those sweet words to make her forget how much he makes her hurt. Though clean of marks, she could almost feel the throbbing of past bruises on her body making her skin crawl. She has no one to go to, he's made sure of that. No where she can hide, his family can make sure of that.

She has to find somewhere to go. She can't keep going on like this...

🎮 Persef

-leans into the mic- one of these things is not like the others

Whismur is very timid and is a sound-based Pokemon, plus it matches Persef's colors. :)

Which brings us to why Houndoom is here. In Pokestuck AUs where the characters ARE the Pokemon themselves, she's often a Houndoom since it fits the bloodline's themes.

Chansey is here because Persef is a very tender and caring person who does animal rescues and rehabilitation. I feel like a Chansey would be a good fit here, being a sort of motherly kind of figure often seen in health care spaces.

Pumpkaboo is small cute and pink. And a ghost type. Persef enjoys taking care of plants (even if she's bad at it whoops.)

Burmy is small and cute and I just thought it went well.

Greavard is a little ghost-type puppy, so I feel like the hellhound themes of the Lankro bloodline are preserved here. Plus, the shiny is a bright yellow! Matchy! :D

As for what Pokemon I'd associate her most with, at this point I think it'd be more fitting if I went Whismur, despite hellhound themes.

Cacoph shyly walks up to Persef, blushing.

She startles a bit, as she hadn't expected to see him when she turned around. She stutters her answer and struggles to get it out as a deep warmth colors her face. Soon she hides her face in her sleeves to collect herself, then very excitedly signs:
