Thank you Laban Pina for your very informative post on the Ancient History of the Philippines & my God Parents, The Marcoses. My mother told me stories as a child of The Kingdom of Maharlika; now The Philippines. She even wrote a manuscript titled, “Maharlika”; though it’s unfortunate she nearly had it published by Vintage Press, but publishing deals can be evasive. Her manuscript was never published. Even more unfortunate, I may have lost the only manuscript copy after her passing & in my own travels. I will have to look for it. I wish she would have written it on a computer, but it was actually typed out in its entirety by a manual type writer; remember those.
