After 114 shots Icie is done with Lovenox. It was an educated, well thought out decision but I no longer felt comfortable giving Icie painful medication prescribe by a group of individuals who were constantly contradicting their own results. Complete and utter incompetence is what we experienced. The hemotology depart of Children’s Hospital has let Icie, Carl and myself down. The unnecessary pain they put Icie through and how much time of ours they have wasted is insane. Icie is now able to wake up and go to bed with out fearing shots. She gives me a look leaving the changing table as if she is getting away with something bc she didn’t get a shot. She is also very talkative. She is very loudly singing, clearly she is happy. Poor baby.
