honestly i just love how normal käärijä is

he's like, just a normal guy that you could possibly run into at a kioski or the city center or something. before being a fan of his, i have long since been a c-pop and k-pop fan, where looks were almost more important than talent so its really refreshing to see just jere from vantaa out here being absolutely unapologetically himself

sometimes i get worried that this love i have for käärijä and his music will fade by this time next year, that this joy that i feel when i hear these songs will go away or the fondness i get watching my concert clips will soon be gone, and its actually quite distressing

i go through this same thing with all of my special interests so its not new, but that doesn't mean its any less troubling

so i was wondering what yall in the käärijä fandom, if youre learning finnish too, what materials are you using?

im using suomi masteri for uni class and sun suomi for self learning, as rec'd by a really nice lady at a bookstore. sometimes ill use the free to use materials from finnishpod101 too, but that gets overwhelming sometimes, and uusikielemme.fi, as rec'd by my finnish teacher and completely free to use

anyway, im trying to hoard resources so what are you guys using?
