I never really thought I’d have to create a DNI list or anything, but I thought I’d make a post and make things clear right off the bat for anyone who happens to be following me (with the recent community situation)
This is a Destiny 2 blog where I mainly just reblog a buncha stuff and on occasion might post OC art or fun things I’ve created for my Guardian in conjunction with my friends on here. Normally I don’t like to put a lot of emphasis on politics but.
I want to be in a space where I can create and share fun content relating to D2, a nice little escape where I can focus on world and character building within this fantastic setting Bungie has made, and not actively think about the fact that there’s a helluva lot of people irl who want me dead for religious reasons or bigoted reasons or otherwise.
So that being said, my blog is safe for all trans people, ace and aro people, queer people in general ofc, POC, etc. I don’t tolerate TERFs or exclusionists, and I especially don’t tolerate fascist/right wing ideology that causes harm to me and everyone I know.
I’m here to get away from all this hatred and have fun, it’s scary to think if I went just a little out of bounds in this very community I could have ended up seeing casually bigoted posts about people like myself. I already have to deal with that from random TERF blogs tumblr decides to advertise to me, but within this community? It’s terrifying.
Also sidenote, I don’t really care about the Cayde stan crap. Like stan culture is weird to me in general but I don’t care if you love funny robot man Cayde. He’s a good character, I like him, but it doesn’t excuse being an asshole.
