these past few months have been so intense… my dad’s been having unexpected bad health issues and stayed with me for a bit and is about to have a really risky surgery soooon which is so intimidating and scary!! and i also got a dream job offer which is great and cool?!? especially in this fucked economy? sooo it’s really been all over the place over here! lots of grief n anxiety n gratefulness, it’s been a surreal blend. feel like i never use this space to give personal updates so i thought whyyy not!! 💭

it’s so funny having multiple projects going on at once because we have Angst™️ in Fateful rn versus I just started writing an original novel that’s romcommy. the tone switch is so hilarious to me 😂

Anyway today is our 9th anniversary and my still technically husband and I went to Red Lobster for a nice dinner and then I swapped our closets out so he doesn't have to come into my room in the morning to get clothes so it was kind of strange but I actually didn't have a bad time

Highly awkward story

So I'm incredibly pissed right now because the slow ass bus made me miss the first day of school (and I spent a good 35 hours mentally preparing for it) so I was doing a cleanse with the heaviest metals I got on my phone on the way home.

So I start Persepolis by Septicflesh (fkin beast of a song) and everything in the universe aligns perfectly to have the chorus start right after I closed the door; so I get a rush of ego and power and start headbanging in the middle of the stairs having the time of my life...
