Like this idea that she personally saw her queer identity as a magnet for criticism is a valid deflection criticism for sure, but when you’re not even doing the bare minimum of what your peers are doing, I don’t think the problem is that you’re too busy with your career. I think that you’re just mad that people were trying to hold you accountable for making it a point to insert yourself in political discussions shortly before an important election as though you had some valid insight on something that, in hindsight, you admit you know almost nothing about.
