Looks like I’m at it again. If you’re wondering who Flower Tattoo is, that’s my character handle on F-list! Anyway, because I feel obligated to let you guys know about this super fun site --
Used the lovely V-Katsu, which apparently is supposed to mimic Facerig and VR Chat. It’s currently in Japanese, but you can find a user-made english patcher here. I can vouch that it does work, and the readme is super easy to work with.
I sadly don’t have a working webcam to play with this, and I am definitely too poor to be able to actually play with this thing on the VR headset. If I ever can get this to work, you can bet that I will totally be making random rant videos here on my blog about things.

Another doodle / warm up for myself before I start lining and coloring a few other pieces that I owe. My microns are coming tomorrow and I'm super stoked for those. I'm still going to work through all my markers and figure out how to start drawing so I can start coloring images more than just posting lineart and lineart only. I don't have nearly enough of what I need though, like greens and reds and the like, but I'm getting there slowly. I wish I could find red packs of markers on wish or something since that's cheapest than dealing with Amazon orz orz.

Just note me for my mailing address, use your own cell phone for the tracking order information, then screenshot me the order confirmation. Anything over 15$ (meaning more than one piece sets like, the markers of course, I need markers so bad) will totally get you a piece! And if you give me a character with the marker theme that you purchase, I will DO MY BEST to traditionally color and doodle it, otherwise I-I might ink a pretty doodle and copy it, then try to color it. I'm not sure how well it'll go aha. It's up to you! But if I don't have the colors, I can't do the coloring.

She’s born of a ‘next generation’ sort of Kwami from my Black Lotus syndicate timeline where synthetic miraculous (without Kwami) are being created and she has to have a Kwami that can transform her to completely different levels.
She’s actually pretty cool? Like.. idk
Here’s a really in depth analysis that @thebxtterflyeffect and I were discussing last night.
Black Lotus is basically sort of an underground ring of smugglers and other mystical obsessed cultists that are trying desperately to make their own Miraculous to completely sweep the world of filth and make a world they want for themselves. However, they need actual miraculous in order to create proper synthetic ones, so they're trying to gather up all the miraculous all over the world since the ones in the Americas aren't the same as the ones in Paris, just as they wouldn't be the same in Australia, etc. There's all sorts of generations in my HC where there's different types, too.
I mean, synethetic ones are generally as powerful as normal ones, but without a Kwami, there’s no sentience that gives them the soul that they need to have their true effects, if not more so when the experiments actually work. However, they need an actual one in order to, you know, make proper ones, otherwise it's just guess work.
Most of the time, it's a matter of knowing HOW to use the miraculous that determines who wins the battle as opposed to which one has the most power when it comes to synthetics, which is why they're so dangerous. Sometimes they have so much power, they overwhelm the user and can even kill them.
The synthetics are mostly just replicas of artifacts seen in ancient text that can create gods. Or they just grant god-like abilities, as opposed to just being miraculous in general. Kind of like having a magic wand allows you to cast magic spells, the synthetics would be your only way to, for example, use fire weapons from nothing. Or if you have a limb that comes off, it'll grow it back, etc. They're very limited with their abilities as of now as they haven't had much time for development / there hasn't been much chance to study ACTUAL Miraculous by the cultists to understand how they really work.
Actual miraculous users would probably be able to figure them out pretty easily, but it's obvious that they're heavy dangerous to use period. They're more like power fodder / fuse fodder than anything, which in my HC is what would happen with the two put together. They would fuse into one single Kwami to create an entirely different entity that was seen as a neutral creature that was a world eater / builder or something along those lines.
But because no one has ever fused them together (it's only ever been in theory or legends), no one is sure exactly HOW to fuse them together. Unlike the first generation of Kwami (The original ones from the series in Paris), the next generation is unable to fuse with each other. Like Tiki and Plagg are theorized to become the most powerful being (IE see God-like), it was assumed the second generation (The American Based) would do the same. However, because the guardian in America had long since died, there was no way of finding out.

Cosette Monter is my OC. She’s Hispanic, but Paris based. Mother and father were biracial, like Marinette’s, but when her father passed away during a Black Lotus attack initially, her mother, Jeanette, took her maiden name back on and forced her daughter to do the same. Jeanette was one of the CEO's for the biggest world wide material imports in across the drink.
Cosette is why Black Lotus Paris in the first place. They were chasing her because she took the one Miraculous they managed to steal, which belonged to her partner Eagle Claw, that they murdered in a battle that not only took his life, but also the lives of many innocent people back in America. In the battle, the miraculous was cracked, and thus Chay, the Kwami stuck inside, was unable to emerge properly regardless of wearing it.
Like the theory
She brought it to Paris to ask for help from the Paris guardians and possibly find a new holder for the Eagle Kwami since her Kwami was unable to 'fuse' like others were because of it being a supportive / healer base. Unlike Tiki and Plagg, Quila, her beta-fish based Kwami, has the ability to perform two different moves - one offensive, and one defensive. However, the defensive (ie the healing) is the more powerful of the two, while her offensive is more of a shielding / defensive based attack.
Healer’s Rain - Based off the fish and the ocean itself, healer’s rain promotes cellular growth through adjusting the speed of cells within the human body as it is composed of 70% water, and the moisture that surrounds the air / around the area to perform the task. Depending on the severity of the wound will determine if she is able to heal it completely if she’s used her other move prior, or if this is the only charm she uses.
Trident’s Pillar - A singular water based attack through the trident she carries. The trident is pretty much all pretty fancy, but can collapse in on itself to a staff, then collapse from the staff into a smaller stick like Chat’s bo. The trident gathers the water in the air and around her to ‘bend’ it, in a sense, though if she loses her grip on the trident and her concentration, she loses her ability to control the water and it merely collapses to the ground. If she uses her hands only and not the trident initially, she can only move and manipulate a certain amount of water to a certain distance, depending on how much of Quila’s energy she’s consumed.
She’s also able to fly by simply ‘floating’ on waterparticles in the air, though this generally means you’re gonna be humid af if you’re riding with her.
Her transformation sequence goes as thus :
She lifted her hands, coiling her fingers at the choker around her neck, “Quila, fins on!”
A gentle teal glow swallowed her, barely registering around the darkness that surrounded her from the alley, and her skin began to change, darkening significantly and her hair, once chin length at its longest, now falling to the ground in a teal heap with shells and coral and bits of other sea-based brick-a-brack braided into the locks. As her hair shot from her scalp, her ears suddenly changed, two large fins popping up from one side, then the other, flapping almost jovially as they regained their thin shape. Her arms would raise, scales appearing across her biceps and slowly creeping down her arms to form blue and teal colored gloves across the darkened skin. Her "uniform” started at her choker, forming a collar-like neckline to bare her shoulders and her upper back, curling at her lower spine and stopping at the base of her breasts, only to form a small shell with a gemstone in the middle. It bared her stomach in the middle, as the lower half only covered one of her legs, the other leg being a cut off shorts with a thigh high boot that laced with white laces in a heel. They almost looked impractical to walk in, with extremely sharp could-cut-glass tip heels and high arches that made almost no sound as she moved. Her hand came up and her thumb grazed along her eyes, a mask composed entirely of actual scales slowly melting across her face and providing the last bit of cover she needed to hide her identity. Eyes would invert, schlera flashing the brilliant neon violet and her irises remaining almost a lifeless silvery white, framed by the mask that was smoothly curved along her face and nose bridge.
I liked the idea of something unconventional for her outfit since leotards, I feel, would be more of a Paris / first generation base. IDK this is just a really long ass post that no one’s going to care about but me -crawls away-
//I need serious help and I really need an AU where nothing changes except somehow the leads swap Kwami’s. Please. I really want to write cat puns and Marinette hating herself every day for it until she's back to normal and then she just threatens to tape Chat Noir to a street lamp with every pun he makes.
