This is the new content for the revised ending. the website and whatnot was made partially with the template for ‘windows xp styled’ interfaces I made for my design document, however I created the web browser UI from scratch.
The web browser’s design is vaguely based off of ‘netscape navigator’ a now obsolete web browser from the early 2000s and I used the internet archive to look at the previous versions of Dell’s website for reference of the layout (given that the laptop is heavily inspired by older dell laptops/ ibm thinkpads)
the computer on the desk was all newly painted in photoshop over an old unedited piece of CG (as shown below) mixed with some of my other painted backgrounds. Unfortunately I dont have these exact blender files and I didn’t wish to entirely recreate them (though I did partially for the rigid body simulation of the PC). This meant that I only had the background at 1920*1080 and for a zoom this intense it may be too low a resolution. I therefore made several versions of the image all cropped in but upscaled to 1920*1080 with the image on the screen being 1080*1080 and retaining as much of it’s resolution as it can at each level of zoom. I then intend on compositing these into a nested digital zoom for a smooth and high resolution clip.
