I’ve spent alot of time not writing. Not putting a pen to paper, no words on a screen. I stare at blank pages trying to word the way I would like to explain things. Justify things to myself. I fell in love, I fell out of love, I fell back in love and somewhere I forgot to be happy.
I forgot the way the sun warms your skin. I forgot how it feels to have a smile on your face with no reason. These things slipped out of my hands while I chased money. Money buy nice things. But, it eats a hole in your heart. It wears it away and takes what you loves and twist it. I don’t want to chase money. I want to chase afternoons in the hammocks with the sun kissing every part of me.
However, happiness is so much more than just a feeling. It’s a way of life. Its knowing not t settle for anything but your best. It’s knowing the time to let go of others. Its allowing yourself to say I AM DONE. because in the end happiness is doing the right thing for you. Even if you aren’t ready.
