Your pain is maybe from bad posture while running. It could also be that they are not strong enough so you might need to strengthen them. Do some core work!
Thank you!
I will make some research about good posture and try to watch it next time I run, and I'll try to add some strength workouts to help :-)
Running specialists : why do I have back and abs pain from running, but no leg pain? How can I avoid this? Many thanks for your help!
You say C25K is too much for you, well that's normal, everyone has their own rhythm, do not feel bad! If you can't make it through day one, just make up your own intervals: run for 30s, walk for 2 min or something similar. You just need to repeat that for 20-30min and you will make some progress I'm sure :) be careful about your speed, your breathing and your posture and you will run a marathon in a year! Good luck ;)
It is hard but it'll be too stupid to give up! I'll just do it at my rythm, and I'll add every day a little bit more. Even if it's 30min walking it'll be better than nothing, so I guess adding one minute, then two minutes, then three minutes,... running will work. I'll keep a progress page and I hope in the end I'll be able to have results to be proud of :-)
Thank you all ♥
k8he said: It’ll get better. You improve yourself with every run. This is the best part of running <3 Xoxo
projectequilibrium said: You’ll get better at it the more you do it and most people end up loving it when they can get to the point where they can keep going. I’m proud of you. =]
love2befit said: It’s okay. Everyone goes through this. Just be patient. You’ll get there. Write it down so you can loo back and see your progress.
hothappyhealthy said: Hey love, I was like that too when I first started! Cept, I was running with my best friends. They used to be on the track team and I was well..a couch potato. I kept going at it and now I can run 5 min w/ out stopping! Don’t give up, we believe in you!
turningfattofit said: A few things that helped me were 1) running intervals..run for a minute, walk for two minutes, run for 2 minutes, walk for one minute and so on. 2) Awesome motivating music. My new favorite is Lady GaGa’s “Applause” 3) Try to run a bit more each time
operation-hourglass said: You’ll get better!! Everyone is like that at first! Running is like a whole diff type of cardio, even for people already in shape. Keep at it, run/walk/run/walk until you can run longer each time :))
fitty-twinny said: I understand this feeling. I am terrible at running therefore I don’t do it enough, therefore I SHOULD! It suck.. Good luck to you though. You can do it! Just believe in the process ♥ (And all boyfriends can run better it’s dumb)
I guess I just have to keep going ? At least I went out and tried. That's the biggest step to take... :-)
Omg don't even feel bad about your running cause even though I can do other cardio activities I STILL can't run more than 3min. I just don't run as I'm constantly out of breath. Make sure your form is right! Run on the balls of your feet. It helps.
I want to be able to run so I'll just keep going every day a little bit more but damn it's hard. I really admire people able to run, I admired them before but now I really admire them even more!
It just hurts so bad, urg. It's a whole other level than the elliptical bike isn't it? ha!
