Sprinting for the last 30-90 seconds is great for making me feel elevated and confident.
Step by step, I will build the lifestyle that fulfills me - a lifestyle of health and knowledge and freedom. ❤️

Summer humidity has been lingering but I’ve still been making it out for all the couch to 5k runs. Some runs have been rewarded by Thorn coming over for cuddles.
It remains very weird coming back to running with a fair amount of aerobic fitness. Today was the last run of week 5, something I wasn’t looking forward to because it suddenly ramps up to 20 minutes of continuous running. But it was fine and I was able to pick up my pace as I went along.
I've started running again. This time I'm doing my homework!
It's been over 2 years since I did any cardio other than walking. So... yikes. So far I'm just working a few 90-second run intervals into my walks.
On the bright side I'm pretty lean these days, and I no longer drink, so maybe the c25k will go faster than expected.
Cue the Rocky training-montage music, and wish me luck.
i actually did it! i finished the C25K plan and have ran 3x 5K this week. i actually didn't believe i could finish it
For the first time, I actually enjoyed part of my run today! It genuinely felt good to challenge my body, to feel it doing something more than the usual. A very strange, new to me feeling, and a very welcome one!
the best way to start the day: hot coffee & a morning jog 💕
I don’t know if it was the cold rainy weather or the playlist that encouraged too much speed, but I was STRUGGLING! Only at first though. By the last rep I was flying through my run interval.
But I will definitely be switching to a lower bpm playlist for my next run 😅
Hey little people in my phone I think I might like running
