My grephew, Everett :)
the biggest stressor in my life since spring this year was resolved in my favor today with surprisingly little fuss and hoo boy am i feeling some relief right about now
My psychiatrist upped my lamotrigine dose from 100mg to 150mg/day and that might not be a huge bump up, but I’ve already noticed a change. I’ve actually gained some motivation since it was changed. I cleaned the kitchen for the first time in god knows how long, trimmed the orange tree, cleaned up the front patio area (it’s not really a yard, per se), weeded the flower bed, swept, all kinds of shit. It’s really nice being able to do things instead of having no motivation to do anything beyond just exist. I’m hoping this keeps up.

i’m so tired of this, SO TIRED. gotta keep losing weight so i can get my top surgery, but the whole process is BULLSHIT. i’m so close! just gotta get to 240, then i can get the consultation appt! BUT! BUT!! i keep bouncing back and forth between 255 and 260 no matter what i do. i watch my calories, count carbs, eat plenty of green veggies, don’t eat junk, i’ve started walking more.... and nothing. it’s like, i went from 310+ to 255-260 and my body’s like “yup we’re done now.” this sucks and i wish i didn’t have to do it, but i have to and it’s just beyond frustrating. i hate it!
guess who got home from the ER a little while ago and guess who also has their first kidney infection :D
fighting with the rising urge to just melt into a puddle and seep into the cracks in the pavement bc i am a failure as an artist lol
god, don’t mind me lol. just having a crap day.
Jamie having some fun in the sunshine. He had a dead spider on his belly fur that he wouldn’t let me pick off him. :I
So I had the followup at the cardiologist's today and as suspected, everything is just fine. :) He said there were medications I could go on that might stop the palpitations, or I could just deal with it med-free, which is the route I chose. The palpitations are not harmful at all, and I'm on several meds already, so I'll just deal with it. Knowing it's harmless has done wonders for the anxiety I used to feel when I'd feel the palpitations so yay, everything's fine now.
