Hey this is so stupid and fully a Me Problem but if you send me an ask or an anon with a headcanon, can you not preface it with like the “since you’re sharing your headcanons” introduction?

I don’t know why but the transactional qualifier makes me feel weird and uncomfortable. I’ve been polite about it in the past because it feels like a dumb thing to be bothered by, but it does bother me, so I need to be responsible and say that. To the anon who just sent me an ask with phrasing like that, sorry but I had a kneejerk reaction and deleted it.

I love to see headcanons, but if you put them in my askbox please just tell me you were thinking about your hcs recently or let me know if something I said made you think of an hc of yours. I don’t know why adding a transactional element to playing with toys in imaginationland is an issue for me, but it is.
