Can I just take a moment to say how happy I am on my job right now. I've been on this job for 6 months gove or take, and I'm already being trained for being a shift leader. Like, whaaaaaat?

Also, our area manger is so nice (unlike my last one- sorry dude)- we had a staff meeting with her last night, and of course we went over business stuff, but she bought us all takeaway, beers and a couple bottles of prosecco for the meeting, and had us doing some activities to "understand each other better". She also bought us a little chocolate treat when I was actually working.

I'm just so happy. Everyone's really nice, and although this was meant as a temporary job after my Masters, I don't know when I would want to leave. Obviously this hopefully won't be my job for ever, but I'm happy where I am, and it's a great feeling to have.
