His back got pretty messed up under the mountain, it's mostly his upper back/spine and shoulders. Though the part next to his tail got some bold spots too.

Other than that he doesn't have any major scaring there. Though someone did stab him in the back w/ some magic shit and it stuck

Idk if you can notice, but there's a three month difference in the rendering between the two drawings.

I wanted to give him a bandana that he got as a gift from Drift and Roddy. I was looking for something with Japanese or broader Asian symbolism, since Drift is at least part Japanese, and it’s been mentioned that Roddy spent time around the waters near Japan and even speaks a bit of the language. I figured they’d pick a gift with some kind of deeper meaning behind it.

That’s when I came across bamboo. It symbolizes flexibility but also being deeply rooted—plus it represents a simple, grounded way of life. And then I found this Japanese saying that literally translates to “a man like fresh-split bamboo,” which refers to someone who’s honest and straightforward. I thought that was both pretty accurate and kind of funny, and very him.

I was originally going to make the star white, but then I remembered that in sg starscream for some reason has a yellowy gold spark and loved the idea of the most despicable guy having a literal spark of gold lol

And if anyone didn't guess already this is a skystar fanart, I love this ship sm 💙

Also, we learned about space shuttles in class the other day and my teacher explained that space shuttles have a special black metearial on their underside to prevent them from over heating when they re-enter the Atmosphere to land. So I gave him black underwings and black and made a few other places black as well that we can't see here. Just because :)

Also I drew his body but he's hand is covering it so here you go (I'm very proud of this one, ignore the arm I'm lazy)

I also drew an actual stellar sea lion because they are majestic and cute and fat<3
