"Commander Shepard."
The commander certainly wasn't someone he'd expected to run into today. He'd heard plenty about her, despite boycotting what he could in the hope of trying to foolishly ignore the fact that his son had done something he would never approve of, but times were different now. He and his son were speaking again, even if it was limited. He supposes he should gather an opinion of her, rather than making any assumptions like he previously had from news reports. Wants to be able to talk to his son about his questionable decisions while having a first hand opinion.
"Atilus Vakarian. I believe you know my son."
