What are your worst dining nightmares? For me, I think yesterday's dinner take the cake. We found a half-dead cockroach in the rice basket! Appalling service when we told the lady boss where she did not offer an apology. Instead, she argued that the roaches are normally outside the basket. Inside or outside, shouldn't roaches not be there AT ALL?! The owner acknowledges this cockroach issue and has had pest control done which still couldn't get rid of the cockroaches. My question is, why are they even open for business in light of the ongoing roach issue?! The roach was half dead (legs still wriggling) amidst the rice when I took the basket for a second rice re-fill and I feel that it must have been at the bottom of the rice basket alive and the staff did not check the basket before scooping rice into it.
