      He wasn't sure how it happened, but Steve woke up and scrambled out of bed only to stare at it as though it had betrayed him. "I don't think so," he muttered, voice raw and filled with horror. Yeah, no. Like he'd ever get down on his hands and knees and beg that disgusting man to do that to him with a bouquet of beets.

Pervy is displeased by the choice of first brain-date material. He really considers theses more of a third date activity, so honestly he just finds it in poor form. He aggressively imagines a Mexican donkey show he attended last week (1/2)

2/2) Trying to pull Charles into the memory and demonstrate a much more appropriate date venue. He hands over the mental popcorn. "I think you'll really like the part when they bring the second donkey in."

Being Charles is suffering.

"I doubt that," is his caustic remark as he accepts the mental popcorn, forcibly ensuring that it's normal popcorn and not covered in--God knows what. Why is he allowing this, again? He could just try to force Pervy to think about one thing and only one thing, but he doubts he'd be able to do it for an hour straight. "This really isn't my idea of a date."
