Hey, you might've noticed I've been less active lately.
Frankly, with college, I have friends now. I've become far less chronically online and much happier.
I've also learned that the political climate on Tumblr makes me extremely anxious as I'm not as far left as many of the people on here, which leaves me in an odd state where I'm always worried if I speak up I'm going to be harassed.
So yknow, now and again you'll see a post or two, but I've got a life now.
Even if Nex's cause of death was suicide and not directly linked to brain trauma from the beating they received, the fact they were bullied for a year, ganged up on and beaten up and ultimately fucking died as a result of the bullying and beating doesn't make their death ""their own fault"", which we all know why it was ruled a fucking suicide and not the murder it was.
Nex was a non binary CHILD who ultimately died because their school wouldn't do anything about their bullying and their state wouldn't see them as who they were. It does not MATTER if it was suicide or if it was directly caused by the trauma to their brain, Nex fucking died because of queerphobia in the state of Oklahoma.
why the fuck are there people trying to sympathize with alastor to a point that they're writing him fake backstories to woobify him over like huh
this man is a vile murderer who delights in slaughtering people. the only thing you could potentially sympathize with him over is him being stuck in a deal he's clearly afraid of.
re that last post, my mom and I have very similar music tastes so it's actually quite often that I'll hear an older song I like and be like "hmm I wonder if Mom ever listened to this" and I discover it's one of her favorite songs but somehow never came on in the car when I was with her.
Ofc I prefer my rock harder and I am a fan of electronic, so our music taste isn't identical, but I do find deep comfort in "dad rock" and I do enjoy it.
anyway I absolutely love discovering old music.
