Cold Environment

Dryness

Light & brightness
As nocturnal insects, cockroaches avoid light at all costs and at any time would very much prefer to do their feasting, moving around and even breeding in the dark. Like being in the dry environment, extended periods of exposure to light will cause them to become stressed and will disrupt their living habits. Continual exposure of light might also cause them to stop breeding.
