Your art trademark for me is how you use the colors (particularly the red and blue spectrums) your attention for detail in the machines makes my jaw fall on the ground lol and I absolutely love how you draw faces and expressions.

I never noticed that color part, really >_> and thank you so much!

So, Felisfire has a ten seperate species available to create. There is technically an official size guide in the Felisfire Knowledge Base, but it is purely textual. After the Monster House Mystery this Halloween, we personally decided to give ourselves a visualisation for how big the average member of each species was compared to the others. So... we drew one up, using the descriptions, the on-site images, and a wide array of actual felid species.
Sin even thought our initial rough was pretty accurate, so there’s that too.
(We do not in any way own anything Felisfire related, save our own account there)
(also, as it stands, Felisfire’s Kickstarter to push itself out of beta is doing pretty well, that’s neat)
FELI:
“Felidae average the size of large housecats...”
Forest Cats for size judgement.
AQUUS:
“range a lot in size... grow their entire lives... An average adult is about the size of a sheep or goat. Very old individuals may mass as much as a large Earth cougar.”
We used a bit of hyena in there, admittedly, but hey, they’re still feliformia.
SCALAE:
“... roughly the size of Aquui, if not a bit larger.”
How do you even lie down with those spikes on your shoulder joint?
ZERDA:
“... small to medium dog-sized, though their fur makes them look bigger...”
Pallas cat fluff all the way.
CHETAE:
“... roughly the size of a small horse, though built differently.”
The wings and wing muscles make the whole thing look very bulky.
AURAE:
“... between Zerda and Chetae in size.”
These guys are WAY bigger than we ever thought... But we used several types of cat, like the Marbled cat and the Golden cats.
IGNEO:
“... large, powerful animals, roughly the size of a Siberian tiger.”
But we’ve done it with with longer legs, and slightly more leopard-y/panther-y, especially in head shape.
LYCREON:
“...barely smaller than Iuridons, and are the second largest species... have a thinner build than Iuridons...”
Lions were put to use here. We also mAY have instituted a bit of headcanon for the wings here, though, because their official wings kind of bug us?
IURIDON:
“...most massive known species, half again as large as an Igneo.”
Lions here, too. We also pretty much just used the outline of the official tail.
XANO:
“... somewhere between Igneii and Iuridons in size. The largest may be somewhat taller than an Iuridon, and are usually greater in overall body length, but they are much less massive, with narrow serpentine bodies.”
Yeah, we weren’t sure what kind of natural pose these guys have so we mainly utilised the official art for this one. Not sure if we managed to get the ‘usually greater in overall body length’, either...
