Did Petal hook up with anyone while they were broken up? Garrett for sure did, but it’d be interesting if it was a theater person type. Kind of like the puck bunnies but theater if that makes sense. Idk, I’d like to see a little bit of jealousy Garrett outside of Romeo because he had no idea how many guys were interested and were there constantly rooting her on. I hope this makes sense! Oooh, maybe after they have another solid discussion. I can’t wait for them to officially get back together.

on so be it — i felt this one in my THROAT. cant remember the last time a fic made me cry like this. probably bc i’ve been so invested with this pairing and the little snippets we got over their relationship + the aftermath of their separation already had me locked in. GOD. the pain is very alive in this. petal’s “im done” and garrett’s immediate “no.” her collapsing on the stairs. garrett’s panic realizing she’s reached her limit this time. him following her home. god. you’re legally bound to post a happy petal!reader fic now. like. stat. bc it’s been five mins and im still sobbing 😭

im in the middle of writing a garrett exes to lovers fic rn, but im honestly considering scrapping it bc i just love your petal!verse so much. when i think of garrett w the ex trope i think of your fic. it can’t be undone. im in ruins. thank you for that btw

can I just say I have not been as obsessed with a verse as I am with petal!reader and Garrett in a veryyyyyy long time. I fucking love groveling, but I feel like all too often the guy will get off without properly apologizing, and that is CLEARLY not the case with Garrett and petal!!! She’s gonna make him work for it!!! As he should!!!! And she’s not doing it to be mean, it’s just what needs to happen to prove he’s gonna be the love of her life!!!! Ugh and the hurt is just so real with how you write it. I LOVE THEM and am so so so soooo happy you’re doing the series for them!!! You’re the best.

and i agree!! a lot of the time there’s all this build up to grovelling and then none actually happens, or they get back together and all the grovelling disappears – no way!! that man is going to beg for her back and work his ass off to keep her!!
