Hiho. So Lanmana, does the Emperium-stuff keeps you on trot or you walk on it comfortably? Dear Petal Grove, I actualy asked this already, but it got kinda lost. So, what do you love most about your work in the castle? (I hope I don´t bother you with my curiosity)

Sorry I couldn't get to your question sooner! I've had a busy week so far ^^'. For the moment I'm just casually updating this tumblr with concepts of some important characters while I try to flesh out enough details to start planning the first few pages. I've been having a lot of "oh I should change how this happens" moments lately. 

Petal Grove: What do I love most about my work? Well, I get to spend each day being surrounded by the beauty of nature. I don't think anything compares to the vibrant colors and lovely fragrants of flowers! Plants are such tender creatures, and they do so much for us. It is an absolute privilege to be allowed to tend to the royal garden.

At first a question to lanmana: Is there a Fanfic or a comic about the whole emperium-stuff? The second thing: WOW, everything here looks really awesome, Prince Novalis looks stunning, Petal Grove is gorgeous and everyone in general is just cool and interesting. And the last questin goes to Petal Grove: Do you have a special somepony?

First Question: Yes, there is a comic I am planning but it doesn't have an official name at this time. I guess "Emperium Comic" will have to do for now. I've got a few plot points down and a rough idea for multiple sagas, it will be my first time making such a big project so I hope I'll be able to see it through! So far what I've posted are all the existing concepts for characters that will be appearing in the comic, but there's still much more to flesh out until I am confident in starting the actual comic.

Petal Grove: A-A special somepony? My, I don't really have enough time to even think about looking for one. I'm always busy tending to the royal garden, so I rarely get out to do much else besides the occasional trip to the marketplace. That isn't to say I wouldn't like one though... perhaps someday I will find a special somepony to call my own.

omg 15 ponies at once no kill me now AHAHAHA  These are just background characters that work within Novalis' castle. The markings on their faces represent their roles and ranks.  Red for castle guard or soldier Black for captain of the guard  Green for the royal advisors Pink for caretakers who maintain the castle Gold for Novalis' personal assistants White for the cooks Blue for entertainers and Orange for royal messengers Most of these characters aren't that important except for like two, not sure if I'd end up showing them in any particular scenes for now. This was just to show the ranking system.

Petal Grove

Petal Grove is another resident of Bridylon, working happily in the castle as the caretaker for the kingdom's famous Hanging Gardens. The marking on her face is a form of identification within the castle to determine that she is castle staff, as well as her particular role within it. She is a gentle soul who spends most of her time around nature, and has much knowledge of different kinds of plant life and what practical uses they have. Her knowledge of such uses extend from cooking to medicine, and even symbolic elements. Much to Hubble's dismay, she is oblivious to his subtle attempts at courtship.
