BACK TO SCHOOL

Was your muse a part of a clique or group of friends in high school? What were they (the friends) like? If answered no, what was that like?

To say ‘clique’ would sound like such a cliche high school movie but she was in a group of friends that hang out together as well as work together. They weren’t exactly the loudest people in the school halls nor were they known to every kid. They were, well, ordinary. They were merely a group of friends that do things together and have fun in their circles, it was more of a big group that had tiny units depending on each activities. All in all, it was a good environment - the group of friends also communicated with people outside of their groups and this helped build the basis of her getting along with people easily without the fear of starting conversations.

Did they have a favourite or least favourite teacher? Why? How did that teacher shape their high school career?

Her favourite teacher had to be her literature teacher, despite her not being such a big fan of reading back in her middle school days, high school had changed her into a bookworm, reading books from autobiographies of interesting people to novels and fictions - her favourite genre of books. Her literature teacher would give extra attention to her as she was that kid who would hang around after school and strike up conversations with the teachers of the subjects that she laid interests in. The high school teacher inspired and encouraged her to take the path of her being a writer, believing in her writing ability before anyone else had, even bettered her analysing skills and anything that deals with language really.

What kind of student were they? Were they rebellious or did they stick to the rules? Were they neither? A mix of both? What/who influenced them to act this way?

She abided by the rules as she freaks out every time someone would act against the rules. She has always believed that rules were set for a reason, however, there would be some times where she’d break the rules; like snacking in the room, nothing as major that could get her in trouble. She was pretty much an obedient kid back in high school, not looking for things to give herself headaches. Friends weren’t that big of an influence on her, if they wanted to do something she didn’t, she would find ways to get out of it without being too obvious. She was pretty independent when it comes down to the process of thought.
