yang was never a morning person. she always felt like a zombie, head empty and no thoughts throughout the morning. however, here in this foreign place the brawler quickly found motivation to get out of bed: her teammates. she had yet to find them, and it’s been a couple of days since she’s gotten here.
it is her third day here when she finally caught a glimpse of crimson around the corner. a double check is all she needed to know she wasn’t about to make some random stranger go through this public humiliation. yang wanted to yell, to run at her little sister and hug her until she said something about not being able to breathe or whatever. but yang pulled herself together. yeah, stealth might not be her thing 99% of the time, but here she is rocking it, and what for?
to pull ruby’s hood over her head, of course.
‘ gotcha ! hah !! ’ laughter laced with pure, unadulterated relief rings out as she enveloped her sister in one of those spine-breaker hugs. ‘ oh, rubes. . .i’m so glad you’re here. are you alright ? ’
