"Oh Oscar, Oscar, you are unique."
And Mrs
Amazing independent film, 5/5 stars - go see it! I got to see the premiere of And Mrs on Friday and it is brilliant - go watch it immediately!
And not just because Sam is in it (although naturally that DOES add to its charm)
Along with a ridiculously star-studded cast in which Brits will recognise nearly everyone (Aisling Bea, Colin Hanks, Billie Lourd, Harriet Walter, Elizabeth McGovern, Peter Egan, Nish Kumar, Sinéad Cusack, Susan Wokoma - seriously every single person in this film is a well known actor and/or comedian)
It's a tragicomedy and given the theme of death/grief, it's absurdly funny. I think the direction is extremely well done, and the pacing is perfect. Sam's character is hilarious and makes use of his perfect comic timing ^_^
I won't spoil anything re: plot, but here's a trailer:
PS - In the premiere, Sam was sat behind me and I was very, very cool about it - by which I mean I pretended not to notice to give him some space (since he wasn't working) ^_^
Prince Regent (1979)
This is an excellent television series, but I think I was unreasonably entertained just watching Prinny get progressively larger with each episode. They could have stuffed even more padding into his shirt but I'm guessing they didn't want to cross over to parody. It's not like George IV was ripe for parody or anything. 😏
