Laura Stevenson & The Cans - One woman and four men from New York. This band is just bursting with talent. You have Laura Stevenson on lead vocals and guitar, but she can also play the piano and the banjo. Mike Campbell is mainly bass but he also can play the omnichord and chord organ. Peter Naddeo plays guitar and the glockenspiel, and you have Chris Parker on drums. Last but definitely not least, there's Alex Billig who plays the accordion and the trumpet. He plays the accordion. No further words.

I first heard "Master of Art" on the free mixtape that Fake Problems is still offering on their website (If you haven't already downloaded it, you should). It's a love song, no doubt. Laura asks her lover to wait for her until she is a "master of art" and until she has learned everything. Was it meant literally until she's done with school, or like until she's done touring, it's really hard to say. I've looked and looked for an interview explaining the inspiration behind the song but have come up empty handed.
So come up with your own conclusion, but I'm sure you'll agree with me that the song is beautiful.
