The last thing Peter thought would happen when he wandered off from the group and snuck out of the hotel was Flash to follow him. He had been following the trail of a bad guy and he supposed he should be thankful he hadn't gotten in full spidergear, his suit under his clothes. But it still led Peter to this cabin and then a storm started. Because of course it did.
"If you weren't being all sneaky and following me you wouldn't be in this situation," Peter pointed out, more worried than angry. This was a bad guys cabin, a bad guy sure to be back. If he was by himself that would be fine but he had to protect Flash too. Hopefully without blowing his identity. He couldn't even investigate fully without Flash wondering what he was doing.
