Thank you to the casting directors of 21 Jump Street for blessing us (that includes me) with Peter Deluise as Doug Penhall and Richard Grieco as Dennis Booker. One of them made lung cancer look so attractive and the other is the type you would had been proud to take home to your parents. In meme terms: Doug is the "I'll have your daughter home by 10." and Dennis is "Your daughter calls me daddy too." I didn't watch the show all the way through and had no idea that Booker existed till my friend told me about him and I was like WHAT. And now as I am in season 4, already missing Booker, I feel like I know everything about him. Watching 21 Jump Street has been a nice breath of fresh air. It covers real problems that were happening in the time frame. It would be nice to aee a show handle that kind of issue like 21 Jump Street does. I just watched the episode where Doug Penhall tells Tom Hanson that his mother killed herself. I empathized and connected with this moment due to my mom's attempt. As much as that is sad back story for a character but it's an accurate for some people.
