10: Sci-Fi or fantasy? Why?

I tend to read more fantasy than anything, but I do also read sci-fi! I’m not sure why I lean more heavily toward fantasy -- I think there are different atmospheres and aesthetics, and I generally prefer those in fantasy. I also think that a lot of science fiction is sometimes a bit more like “gritty” and I don’t always like that, there isn’t the same element of escapism as with fantasy. That being said, I do like science fiction, and I think that science fiction and speculative fiction are really great as like.... thought experiments/philosophical musings. 

There’s also just a lot of like, mishmash between the two, so it can be hard to fully separate them. 

26: If you could be a character from a book for their entire life who would you be and why?

No hetero but I think Sophie from Howl’s Moving Castle has a wild story and she’s a lot of fun. I have only read the first two in that series, though. I really don’t know of someone whose life I would want all the way through. Maybe a background hobbit in LOTR, haha.

4. what are you looking forward to? im looking forward to spending more time in my classes and with my new class friends, im looking forward to figuring out what i want professionally through my classes and my internship, im looking forward to going to canada and new york later this year, im looking forward to quite a few things which is so so fantastic after spending so much time having nothing good on the horizon yknow?7. what was your life like last year? ha, nice segue shrey, last year was kind of a hit and miss kind of year for me, it was great socially because i met a couple of great people at uni and my entire online squad mostly came into my life last year too (i think?? i feel like ive known them for years honestly) but academically, my life was kinda sucky, i didnt like my course or where i was headed. personally, it was ehh, i think i grew a LOT over the course of 2014, i really solidified growth from 2013 and i learned a lot about myself which was amazing. idk , i guess overall, my life last year was a huge learning experience and ive come out the other end way better than i went in14. when was the last time someone of the opposite sex hugged you? uh, last month when i was hanging out with some high school friends, two of whom were moving upstate to go to uni, we hugged as i was leaving

 17. opinion on insecurities? everyone has them obviously, and oftentimes they arent that big of a deal overall but they can impact an individual immensely, and i think its really important to look into your insecurities and try to deconstruct them and work through them, like personally, its quite a process but i think its so worth it bc its honestly a growing opportunity like if you figure out why youre insecure about that thing you can find out how to rectify your views or improve that part of you yknow?

 24. height? ugh im so short, im barely 5'3 27. things you hate? hmm, i hate the state of this shitty world, i hate waking up, i hate all the goddamn -isms that plague us, and marginalization, i hate how hard its going to be for me out in the Real World just because of my gender and my skin colour and my sexuality, i fucking HATE when your earphones start breaking and you just want to listen to your music but noooo, i hate being dependent on my parents, i hate a lot of things34. most embarrassing moment? um idk honestly, theres a few things which i look back on where im like 'oh my goddd i cant believe i did that wtf??' but im trying to chill my social anxiety and let go of that stuff so idk. i guess maybe my most recent thing (that i can recall, im pretty sure i forget a lot of stuff really fast) was when i got proper drunk at a friend's house late last year and idk how it came up but i was telling my friend about bisexuality and asexuality i think, and my drunk quiet voice is really loud apparently so suddenly the whole goddamn room was listening in, and idk i guess its just more the fact that i was so drunk? like i wasnt wasted but ive only ever gotten tipsy before and, to me, it was just mortifying to be so out of control?37. favourite actor/actress? so many, but currently im kinda fixated on rami malek bc hes SO PRETTY and cute and honestly im 99% sure he has access to the fountain of youth?? and im in love w hayley atwell and the entire band of brothers cast (HAVE YOU SEEN THEIR TWITTER INTERACTIONS THO)44. age you get mistaken for? again, ugh, usually people think im like 15 or something bc im short and i have kind of a baby face i guess? its annoying i dislike it a lot47. turn ons? well, im ace, so i was gonna just list some stuff i find aesthetically attractive but im gonna level with you here, lately i find SO MUCH STUFF attractive its such a problem?? but idk like certain Looks are so attractive, and im instantly in love w ginger people, and tall boys, and plaid wearers, and girls with brightly coloured hair, and that whole threadbare tshirt + skinny jeans combo, literally probably anything remotely put together im like yh, and then if i find out people are like, funny or witty or whatever im like bruh54. something thats worrying you at the moment? my collection of random sickness symptoms is a little worrying, but tbh i have to force myself to be concerned about it bc my nature is just like 'im sure itll resolve itself, if its not debilitating then i can soldier on'. also im worried about coursework and if ill be able to keep up and more importantly, if ill be able to do well and stuff57. favourite animal(s)? foxes, wolves, puppies, ocelots, ???

*Am I allowed to write 2? Yes. The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson and Brideshead Revisited by Evelyn Waugh. But I love so many.

2. Top five favourite bands?

*Again, this is too hard but I guess I'll have to try. Bastille, Safetysuit, Paper Route, Busted (yeah I'm cool) and Snow Patrol. There are probably more I haven't thought of like YMAS, 10STM, P!ATD etc etc.

3. Got any plans for the weekend man i swear im not a creep

*YES! I'm seeing my 6 bestest friends all together for the first time since they went to university in September. Literally buzzing.

*Benedict Cumberbatch because I haven't really watched much with TH in although he seems really cute. Plus Benedict is to die for.

*Cupcakes but massive cakes are better.

*No but mentally dating Colin Morgan and crushing on some guy I don't know the name of (lucky me)

*Ahhhh gosh I can't choose. I would have said number 10 but number 11 grew on me - Matt Smith is dishy (hehe)

*These are literally the hardest questions ever. I don't really have a favourite but if I had to choose, I guess, Neville but maybe that's because Matthew Lewis is hot, I'm not sure. But seriously, Neville is such an overlooked character and he's really great. I do like Luna as well. Neville and Luna - such an adorable couple.

*The Bucket List - I cried like a baby.

11. Is your room messy or tidy?

*I'm freakishly tidy compared to my best friend. omg you should see her room on a bad day.
