hot take: I hate the way some people have become so comfortable with hating on the certain ways people may write fanfiction. from people saying "god i hate AUs, some people shouldn't be writing them" to "this writer makes the characters look so OOC", etc. I've seen people get wayyyy too comfortable about debating on certain parts of fanfiction that have been around for MANY years.

like, can people just fucking learn to scroll away and ignore it or just leave people be? I don't get why certain parts of fanfiction have become such a debate.

if you don't like a fanfiction and have nothing nice to say on it, just scroll and move on. if people wanna write that way, fine! if you don't like it, also fine! but don't be a bigot about it. fanfiction is free.

to all fellow selfshippers out there, I have a question!: do any of you choose not to follow (on social media if they have any) the VA's/actors/actresses who play your f/o's simply because it probably breaks the immersion you have/feel over the f/o you pair yourself with? OR does it not really bother you that much?
