Pope = Popstar
When I was in Rome during the “Romwallfahrt” (a pilgrimage of ministrants to Rome) we had an audience with the pope. There were around... Well, I have no idea how much people were there, but quite a lot. Many thousands.
So, the pope comes with his little car onto the Peter's square and everyone starts cheering and clapping and taking photos.
I mean: Does this look like something spiritual and religious or like some concert/ festival?
In conclusion: The pope is a popstar
