JJK men & kissing - headcanons
JUJUTSU KAISEN MASTERLIST
Higuruma kisses like a man who spends entirely too much time thinking before he does anything, so the beginning is almost painfully restrained: a hand settling at your waist, his eyes dropping briefly toward your mouth, that tiny hesitation where you can practically hear him deciding whether kissing you right now is sensible.
And then he does, and apparently all that self-control was being held together with office staples and professional dissatisfaction.
His kisses are slow, deep, and heavy. Higuruma isn't particularly playful about it; he likes lingering against your mouth, kissing you once, separating barely enough to breathe, then immediately coming back because apparently the first one wasn't sufficient.
Definitely cups your jaw. Thumb against your cheek, fingers slipping behind your ear, quietly directing your face where he wants it without ever making the gesture feel hurried.
After an especially terrible day at work, though? Different man. You barely get to greet him before he's loosening his tie with one hand and pulling you toward him with the other.
He has this habit of breathing your name against your mouth when things get heated, low and exhausted and almost irritated by how badly he wants you.
Loves when you're sitting on his desk and he's standing between your knees. There is something about the position that dismantles the last remnants of his professionalism remarkably quickly.
Toji doesn't ask for kisses particularly often. He just gravitates toward you until suddenly there's an enormous man occupying approximately ninety percent of your personal space.
His favorite opening move is catching your chin between his fingers, looking at your mouth for an offensively long time, and waiting for you to close the distance. Smug bastard.
His kisses feel lazy right until they don't. One moment it's a slow press of his mouth against yours, the scar at his lip brushing your skin; the next, his hand has settled firmly on your ass and you're being pulled flush against him.
Bites. Not constantly, but enough that you've learned not to make an interesting sound when he catches your lower lip between his teeth unless you want him to immediately bit you until the tiny bead of blood appears.
His hands wander. Waist, lower back, hips, thigh, ass - less because he's consciously trying to seduce you and more because Toji is extremely tactile once you've got his attention.
Loves kissing your neck afterward, especially because he can feel your pulse against his mouth. If you squirm because he's too rough, you can actually feel the bastard grin against your skin.
Choso's first kisses were probably incredibly careful because this man approached kissing like he had unexpectedly been assigned responsible for a priceless artifact.
He has spent 150 years as a cursed womb, acquired a human body, freed his brothers, suffered approximately seventeen existential crises and now somehow he's expected to understand making out?
"Where do my hands go? Is that too much pressure? Was that noise good? She moved closer. Moving closer means good. Probably. Should I ask? Would asking ruin it?"
Meanwhile you're wondering why Choso has been staring at you from three inches away for thirty seconds.
Choso becomes addicted to kissing ridiculously quickly. Not necessarily sexual kissing, either. Kiss when you wake up. Kiss when you leave. Kiss when you come back. Kiss because you've been sitting beside him for twenty minutes and apparently that's an intolerable amount of time without affection.
He loves holding your face with both hands. There's something achingly sincere about it, like he wants all his attention concentrated on you.
You have to teach him to stop apologizing while kissing you.
When things become heated, his composure deteriorates spectacularly. His breathing gets heavier, kisses increasingly messy, and every tiny sound you make seems to encourage him.
Tell him, "Just like that, Cho," while kissing him and congratulations - you've just permanently installed that technique into his brain.
Praise absolutely destroys him. "You kiss me so nicely." Choso.exe has stopped responding.
He especially loves when you climb into his lap because his arms immediately close around your middle, holding you with this instinctive protectiveness while you kiss him stupid.
Mahito kisses like personal boundaries are an adorable little human custom somebody explained to him once and he immediately decided to ignore it.
There is absolutely no consistency.
Sometimes he'll give you an obnoxiously exaggerated MWAH! against the cheek purely to irritate you. Sometimes he'll grab your face and pepper kisses everywhere except your mouth because watching you become increasingly annoyed is apparently the greatest entertainment imaginable.
And sometimes he becomes eerily quiet. Those are the dangerous ones. Mahito is fascinated by reactions, which means kissing you inevitably becomes an experiment. What happens when he catches your lower lip? What happens when his hand settles against the back of your neck? What happens when he kisses beneath your jaw instead? Every discovery gets filed away.
When the two of you kiss, his mismatched eyes remain open more often than not - after all, Mahito would never waste an opportunity to study every tiny reaction flickering across your face.
Make a particularly interesting noise once and his eyes immediately open. He pulls back approximately half an inch. "Do that again." "No." "Why?" "Because you're being weird." "But you whined like a bitch, which means you liked it, haha!" And that enormous smile. Insufferable creature.
His kisses can switch from playful to unsettlingly intense without warning. That's what makes Mahito feel like Mahito: there's always something slightly wrong beneath the intimacy, an awareness that his understanding of affection doesn't operate according to normal human rules.
Definitely licks you, all over your face. Cheek. Jaw. Neck.
He thinks your disgust is hilarious.
If you grab his hair while kissing him, though, something changes. His eyelids lower and that manic energy concentrates into something much more focused. Then he wants to know why that felt different.
A sweet kisser. Dangerously sweet.
Yuta has the deceptive advantage of looking like he'd be shy about everything, and initially he probably is; his first few kisses are soft enough that you're practically melting from how careful he's being.
Yuta is also intensely devoted. Once he's secure in the knowledge that you genuinely want him? The difference is startling. His hand settles behind your neck and suddenly that sweet little kiss has lasted three minutes.
His first kisses are ridiculously gentle because Yuta is terrified of imposing himself on somebody he loves. He waits for signals, lets you close the remaining distance, keeps his hands somewhere safe around your waist.
He's in love with forehead kisses, temple kisses, cheek kisses.
He has a habit of holding your hands whenever he kisses you, his fingers instinctively intertwining with yours as though keeping you close comes naturally to him.
Annoying. So fucking annoying.
You lean forward to kiss him and Gojo deliberately moves backward. You try again. Backward again. "Satoru." "Hmm?" "Come here." "Aww. You want something?" The moment you threaten to leave, however, his hand catches your waist. Suddenly Mr. Untouchable has discovered physical contact.
Gojo's kisses are playful because everything is a game until something makes it serious. He smiles against your mouth constantly.
Loves stealing tiny kisses while you're talking.
Satoru’s kisses are often dictated entirely by his ever-changing mood. Sometimes, when he simply isn’t feeling particularly affectionate, he’ll shamelessly activate Infinity the moment you try to steal a kiss, watching your lips stop just short of his with that infuriatingly smug little grin. Other times, though, he seems completely incapable of getting enough of you, kissing you so frequently and insistently that your lips are left warm, swollen, and tender by the time he finally decides to give you a break.
Occasionally, you'll touch his face, or push his hair away from his forehead, and his whole demeanor quiets. Those kisses are slower. No jokes. No teasing. Just Satoru holding you close and kissing you with an intensity that reminds you that beneath the obnoxious personality is somebody who experiences attachment far more deeply than he likes people knowing.
Geto knows he's good at kissing. That's the problem.
He's extremely patient. If he catches you staring at his mouth, he won't immediately kiss you. He'll continue speaking as though he hasn't noticed, except there's suddenly the faintest curve at the corner of his lips.
His hand almost always ends up beneath your jaw or at the nape of your neck, thumb stroking slowly against your skin while he kisses you at precisely the pace that keeps you wanting more.
Geto's kisses are controlled. Warm. Deliberate. Even when they become heated, there's an elegance to him that never completely disappears.
Slide your fingers beneath his bun while kissing him, scratch gently against his scalp or loosen his hair tie and you'll feel that tiny hitch in his breathing that tells you you've finally managed to disturb that infuriating composure.
Nanami's affection is understated, so kisses frequently happen in passing. Before work or when he comes home. Against your temple while you're cooking. A quiet kiss to your forehead when he thinks you've already fallen asleep.
Making out with him is considerably rarer, which means when it happens you notice.
Nanami is exceptionally deliberate: one hand around your waist, the other beneath your jaw, and absolutely no unnecessary rushing.
He likes kissing you after he's loosened his tie and rolled his sleeves up, which feels profoundly unfair for reasons you refuse to examine too closely.
Exhausted Nanami kisses slower, like he's deliberately forcing himself to come down from the day.
He would rather face the most powerful curse imaginable than admit that his entire day feels somehow wrong if he doesn’t get his morning kiss from you.
Public affection stays reserved: a hand at your back, fingers briefly touching yours, perhaps a kiss against your temple somewhere private enough that nobody is paying attention.
Sukuna doesn't understand why humans place so much emotional significance on kissing.
To him, your mouth is another place from which he can provoke a reaction.
Kissing Sukuna feels less like receiving affection and more like entering a competition you weren't informed was happening.
Sukuna enjoys control, so he'll catch your jaw when you try pulling away and keep you close enough that your mouths still brush when either of you speaks.
He despises timid little kisses.
He's incredibly smug whenever he notices you getting flustered, but the fastest way to irritate him is acting unaffected.
He’ll kiss you so hard and relentlessly that you’re left teetering on the edge of consciousness, lungs burning from the lack of air, only for him to finally pull away and let a thin string of saliva remain stretched between your mouths, before giving you barely enough time to drag in a breath and crashing his lips against yours all over again.
The important distinction between Sukuna and someone like Mahito is that Sukuna isn't studying your reaction because he finds human intimacy mysterious; he watches because he's competitive about it. He wants the satisfaction of knowing exactly what effect he has on you.
Yuji kisses with his entire personality. Warm, enthusiastic, affectionate and occasionally so eager that your teeth accidentally bump.
When he discovers he likes kissing his partner - you're receiving kisses for everything.
He's physically affectionate in general, so his arms automatically wind around you and pull you closer. If you're standing, they're around your waist; if you're lying together, he's pulling you against his chest; if you're sitting in his lap, you're probably not escaping anytime soon.
Yuji is also incredibly prone to smiling against your mouth. Half your kisses eventually become useless because Yuji starts grinning and then you start grinning because he's grinning.
When the atmosphere becomes heavier, he's surprisingly intense. He gets quieter. His hands stop fidgeting. His forehead rests against yours afterward while both of you catch your breath, and he'll give you one last tiny kiss because apparently ending on an even number wasn't affectionate enough.
Megumi is an absolute nightmare to get to the first kiss stage. Not because he doesn't want you but because acknowledging that he wants something emotionally vulnerable apparently violates some obscure Fushiguro regulation.
What will frustrate you most is the fact that he still stares at your lips, and you catch him doing it at the most random moments - often enough that you start wondering why he keeps looking when he apparently has no intention of doing anything about it.
When you finally kiss him, he freezes for perhaps half a second before his hand catches your sleeve. That tiny fistful of fabric is somehow more intimate than anything else could've been because Megumi isn't naturally demonstrative. Holding onto you is the giveaway.
His kisses are quiet and surprisingly tender. Megumi doesn't perform affection. He isn't trying to impress you or prove he's good at it.
His ears always betray him, quickly turning red after you kissed his lips or even just a cheek.
During longer kisses, one hand eventually finds your waist while the other settles somewhere around the back of your neck, and that's when you discover Megumi has considerably more intensity buried underneath all that repression than he would ever voluntarily admit.
Naoya kisses with the same unbearable arrogance he brings to practically everything else. He doesn't approach kissing as some tender little exchange between equals; in his mind, you're the fortunate one, and he fully expects you to behave accordingly. Which means he absolutely hates when you make him wait.
He likes holding your chin when he kisses you, thumb beneath it and fingers curled along your jaw, tipping your face upward because he likes having control over the situation.
His kisses aren't particularly gentle, either. They're demanding, impatient, almost competitive, especially once you've bruised his ego somehow. He kisses like he's trying to win an argument neither of you agreed was happening.
Naoya is absolutely the type to pull away just enough to watch what he's done to you. Your breathing uneven, cheeks warm, lips swollen, and that awful little smirk appears. “Look at you. so fucking pathetic. Be grateful you even got a kiss, woman."
Naoya thinks your irritation is incredibly attractive.
Naoya isn't naturally sentimental about kissing your forehead or cheek, either. He'd probably call that kind of affection childish.
Jealous Naoya becomes noticeably more possessive about affection. Not because he's going to admit to jealousy - bitch please, his ego would burst into flames first - but because another man paying too much attention to you suddenly steps into his territory.
Cup his face and kiss him slowly without trying to provoke him, and there might be the briefest moment where he simply lets you take over control. Even if for just a few seconds.
Naoya is also petty enough to withhold a kiss if the two of you have been arguing.
He’s the type to slip his tongue into your mouth at practically every opportunity, though, as if a simple, innocent kiss is somehow never quite enough for him.
