I always tell my subject before jumping on set to be themselves…think anything other than “model” and go with what they're feeling. I shoot and talk to each subject at the same time in order to capture organic moments. With Peter, he came fully prepared and gave me everything he got. We listened to his playlist of endless hip hop, we spoke about different topics, and played with fashion. By the end of our shoot I had captured so much of his energy and personality.
