My OC Bridget loves to bake. She'll spends hours working on a new recipe or dish, and then take it to her friends to have them try it.

Caleb would probably enjoy her baked goods. He hasn’t tried baking that much because lactose intolerance keeps him from following most recipes, but in a modern-day AU he would be very much interested in vegan baking.

2. their smile He’s shy about open-mouthed smiling due to his insecurities over his tooth gap, and it’s uncommon to see a genuine smile, but when he does smile his whole face lights up, and his smile is very contagious.

4. their insecurities In addition to the aforementioned tooth gap, he is insecure about his hands. He wants to kick his nail-biting habit, but he doesn’t want his fingernails to get too long, lest ink get trapped under them. It’s a real catch-22.

6. how they deal with grief He’s in the denial state longer than most. When the grief finally hits him, he is likely to blame himself, no matter how little responsibility he has. Grief is also the only time that he will cry in front of others. He just can’t keep himself composed enough to cry in private.

8. what they like to eat He is strict about eating kosher, which limits what he can eat in the first place. He’s partial to brisket and gefilte fish because they’re seder staples in his family, and in general he prefers a clean plate where the different foods don’t touch each other.

10. their fashion sense He’s the best dressed of any of them. He has a lot of nice suits in his wardrobe. In general he prefers to go without ties, but he has a few ties for special occasions

12. their romantic life Non-existent. He is aromantic and strongly romance-repulsed.

14. how they react to burning their tongue on food He immediately grabs water and drinks it so quickly he nearly chokes.

16. their dreams He wishes that he wasn’t so neurotic (he has Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder, but he doesn’t know that because the diagnosis doesn’t exist yet). He also dreams about mastering both fictional and non-fictional writing, though he doesn’t deem that possible due to his extreme perfectionism.

18. how they sleep In a fetal position; the side varies. He seldom has a restful night’s sleep due to staying up late to ride creative surges, and he has nightmares more often than my other characters, especially once he’s in the war.

20. how they react to a mystery love letter Immediate panic. Best-case scenario, he’ll leave it lying around planning to eventually write a declining response. Worst-case scenario, he’ll burn the letter and pray fervently that it doesn’t happen again.

22. what they’re like on two hours of sleep He becomes used to functioning on little sleep, but he doesn’t necessarily enjoy it. When he is especially sleep-deprived, he is much more quiet than usual, and he can be prone to snapping at people. Also, things that are normally pet peeves become much more aggravating to him. He just doesn’t cope well with everyday inconveniences when he’s tired.

24. what motivates them Creativity is probably his biggest motivator. He is constantly on the lookout for inspiration, and once the war starts it helps distract him from the horrors. Another big motivator is a desire to make loved ones laugh, or at least smile. He doesn’t care if his puns draw out groans; he’ll keep bringing them on until they smile, dammit.
